What organization can say its volunteers have built over 200,000 homes for families all over!!? With the help of volunteers and donations from organizations like us, Habitat for Humanity has been able to build houses for needy families for over 30 years! These homes are affordable, and energy efficient. This year the New Jersey District Circle K will be contributing to this great cause: our 2007-2008 Governor’s Project will be Habitat for Humanity! This year the New Jersey District Board has decided to raise $1000.00 for Habitat for Humanity, and set a goal of an average of 2 service hours per member for Habitat for Humanity.

What can our donation do? The money raised by the New Jersey District may to purchase: $10 = Box of Nails $35 = Roof Shingles $50 = Low Flow Toilet $75 = Window $100 = Kitchen Sink $150 = Front Door $500 = Siding $1000 = Wallboard Habitat for Humanity has started building houses all over New Jersey this year.

In a Clayton, New Jersey alone there will be 12 homes built for needy families this year. Habitat for Humanity can only work if donations and volunteers are easily and readily accessible. That’s where you come in!!! New Jersey Circle Kers… we will be holding fundraisers and hopefully working on projects with local Habitat for Humanity organizations throughout our state. Look for project updates and news coming soon!!
